Meet the founder

Hi, I’m Tanya owner of Sugarette. In the fall of 2020 I embarked on this journey when life presented me with a new chapter. Unfortunately, I found myself jobless when my previous employer fell victim to the challenges brought on by the Covid pandemic.

With a passion for sugaring hair removal and a deep desire to maintain a strong connection with the women in our community, the idea of Sugarette was conceived. It became more than just a business; it became a way to empower and uplift those we serve.

Fast forward to the present, and I am humbled by the growth of Sugarette. Alongside caring for my four beautiful children, who I lovingly call my other babies, we have expanded our team to include two talented sugarists who share our dedication to exceptional service.

To enhance our offerings, we have introduced two new services, tailored with care to meet our clients' diverse needs. Furthermore, in our commitment to making Sugarette accessible to more individuals, we have opened a new location in the heart of downtown Fullerton.

It is with great warmth and hospitality that I invite you to visit us at one of our locations. Our aim is to create an environment where you feel entirely at ease, and leave with that invigorating energy of smooth, radiant skin.

Drawing from ancient traditions, our sugaring technique involves a simple mixture of sugar, water, and lemon juice, promoting an eco-friendly and biodegradable solution. Unlike waxing, which often incorporates synthetic chemicals and requires high temperatures, our sugaring process is gentle on the skin, significantly reducing the risk of burns and irritation.

We take pride in the fact that our sugaring paste only adheres to dead skin cells and hair, thereby minimizing discomfort and preventing ingrown hairs.
